Andrew Stasiuk

Andrew Stasiuk is a first-year graduate student in Professor Paola Cappellaro’s group, the Quantum Engineering Group, at MIT. His research focuses on quantum information transport and thermalization in solid state NMR. Andrew received an undergraduate degree in mathematical physics from the University of Waterloo, and a Master’s degree from the Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo, during which his research focused on theoretical and computational studies of multibody spin physics. Before starting at MIT, Andrew worked as an R&D Software Engineer for Quantum Benchmark/Keysight Technologies Inc, where he helped develop and maintain the True-Q software repository. Some of Andrew’s hobbies include cooking, CrossFit, finance (both traditional and decentralized), and computer gaming.
