Quantum & AI: Applications and Innovations – A Conversation with MIT CSAIL and MIT CQE | October 23, 2025 9-11:30a.m EST

On October 23rd, 2025, CSAIL and MIT experts will gather to explore how the field of quantum computing is changing, how AI innovation is molding quantum’s trajectory, and what business leaders should keep in mind as theory becomes reality. Quantum & AI: Impact on Security – A Conversation with MIT CSAIL and MIT CQE | October 9, 2024 1-4:00p.m EST

On October 9th, 2024, from 1-4pm, CSAIL Alliances, in collaboration with MIT’s Center for Quantum Engineering, will host a half-day event to explore Quantum and AI advances with a focus on the technology’s impact on Cybersecurity. Opening talks will start with CSAIL Director Professor Daniela Rus and the Director of the MIT Center for Quantum Engineering, Professor William Oliver. This symposium will feature two panels of experts exploring topics in quantum, AI, and cybersecurity. Q&A sessions with world-renowned researchers and leading industry practitioners with networking opportunities and informal discussions make this an important event to attend on campus. Quantum’s Impact on Security – A Conversation with MIT CSAIL and MIT CQE | October 2, 2023 3:30 – 5:00p.m EST

On October 2, hear from MIT experts what the current field of quantum computing research looks like and how the work happening today might impact society in the future. Moderated by CSAIL Director Professor Daniela Rus, Professor Shor will join a panel with Director of the Center for Quantum Engineering Professor William Oliver and cryptography expert Professor Vinod Vaikuntanathan to explore how quantum will break RSA security, new cryptography measures that could fill the cybersecurity gap, and how those solutions will stand up to the quantum computers of tomorrow.
